About results

What are the outcomes of practicing Pathwork®? Why might someone be interested in spending time, money and--most importantly--life energy on this "work"?

What can I expect if I do Pathwork?

A quick summary might be that when people engage in this personal exploration:

  • They automatically feel more at home within the self.

  • They feel less fear of other people and/or life, then more liking, and then more loving of other people and life itself.

  • Improved, then deeper relationships are the norm.

  • Feel new energy, have nervous system shifts, and feel lightness in their bodies.

  • Energy becomes available for "leveling up" in life, not with a forced effort, but with natural ease and pacing.

  • Loosing up tightly-held beliefs and ego structures helps one sense the reality of being a part of something bigger.

  • That "something bigger" then becomes an energy source and feedback loop of positive change and inspiration in all facets of life.

People learn to cultivate their own version of justified, deeply rooted optimism about the world. At the same time, they don't inappropriately dismiss negativity or hide behind spirituality as a defensive shield. In many ways, the Pathwork shows us each a blueprint and tools for building our own (not someone else's!) amazing life in which to dwell. It does this brick-by-brick, in a conscious, grounded, deliberate way that honors and cultivates one's personal power and intuition.

All that said, the Pathwork methods are not to be seen primarily as a goal-oriented system that coaching, or relationship counseling, in contrast, might be. While things like financial success and harmonious relationships might indeed be real outcomes of this work (see my story), the true "goal" is to become more of who you really are, your Real Self, with its fullest expression and unlimited potential in life. You might say it is more like a refining of the raw materials of your psyche and energetic makeup, which then become better materials for the building blocks of your life. In this way, it is not uncommon to feel the transformation "working" after one session.

A common experience is a feeling of lightness that comes with mental clarity, or tensions released from the mind or body. Or a feeling of solidity and groundedness becomes a felt reality as new connections are formed between mind, body, and emotions so that aspects of you are no longer split off into parts or compartmentalized. When shifts like these happen, you present to the world a different way, and new life creations can happen at any moment. Maybe it will be your spouse or your coffee barista.... who will be the first person to experience the now-current "you" of the next present moment? Maybe it will be yourself as you appreciate a new facet of the divine order of the universe in what you have uncovered in your corner of it.

Another common experience is feeling pain.  Old, unaddressed feelings and outdated misconceptions about yourself, life, and others have created pain and frustration in the past. If these are present, they need to be felt in the body and emotions, and the need to be linked to their related mental structures.  In this way, cause and effect are grasped, and old, negative mental and energetic patterns can be dissolved.  Although pain must be felt, it can be done, and done with intelligence and compassion.  If you are willing to feel uncomfortable, and to feel pain as well as pleasure on your journey, you will ultimately be releasing subconscious blocks and energy drains.  When released, old, stuck patterns can transform back into healthy thoughts, real feelings, and unrestricted life force.

The results of this work are as infinitely wonderful and varied as you and we all are.

Here are more examples of the tangible effects of personal transformation work.

  • Self-awareness on new levels simultaneously intensifies both humility and self-confidence.

  • Relationships become harmonious; conflict can eventually be seen as a gift and mirror for what one wants to learn about oneself and life.

  • Aspects of life that used to be difficult become less volatile, with less "drama."

  • Boredom and world-weariness become doorways to renewed desire and fascination with life.

  • Self-centered life focus broadens into an inclusive, connected experience with others in the spirit of brotherhood and sisterhood.

  • Traits and talents that used to be frustrated or latent become available for creative expression.

  • Blocks are discovered and cleared so one's channel to intuitive faculties, expanded consciousness, and spiritual experience can emerge more fully.

And this is just a partial list! Again, the real results are as infinitely varied and wonderful as each person is...as YOU are! What might be your personal version of transformation?
